My name is Roy Thomas and I am a Starting Strength Coach based in Tallahassee, FL. I have been coaching the Starting Strength method since January, 2021. I love teaching and have a knack for making the complex understandable. I've found little more fulfilling than helping people realize their physical potential and live happier, healthier lives as a result.

I have never been stronger in my life since I started lifting with Roy, and this is due to three reasons. The first is sustainable progress, which has meant steady incremental increases in weight, coupled with a strong focus on proper form in order to prevent injury. How It Works:
First Contact
You will get in touch with us via this website, our email, or our phone number and we will schedule an assessment.
Assessment
We will discuss your goals, medical and injury histories, answer any questions you have, and then we'll get you scheduled for a complementary one-hour, one-on-one introductory session.
Your First Workout
You will learn the fundamental lifts and get an overview of early program structure based on your specific goals and circumstances.
Individualized Coaching
At first you will have a simple and approachable program. As you make progress, changes to that program will become necessary. We will help you make those changes based on your individual goals and constraints to ensure continued, sustainable progress.
